Could get expensive: Kitchen and Dining

I originally bought this to organize my recipes but quickly realized that this book would end up costing too much. I decided to give this to my teenage daughter to copy what she wants before she moves. But for my recipes, I got an easy box with my name on it, and then a huge deck of cards at a Michaels sale. I've been hired for a long time now. This book makes a great starter gift, but if you have a lot of recipes, it's going to cost a lot. You might want to consider a recipe box.

Darling I wish it was reusable

I bought it mainly for decoration. Here's what I think of the recipe folder: • It's cute and perfect for decorating a farmhouse. • I wish there were additional recipe cards. • If you cook a lot and plan to use this recipe binder, then it's probably not for you as you can write at least 40 recipes. • Love the sizing, conversion chart, and ingredient substitutes. • It has labels and dividers to help you organize your recipe (meat, appetizer or dessert) appropriately.

Quality material here!

Although I had a little trouble getting my order when I received it, I LOVE IT! The binding and pages are good quality and will probably last a very long time, love the look of the product and love how easy the recipe cards slide in and out of the cases. I've already started filling the book with my tried and tested recipes and can't wait to finish it. This is something my son can eat when I'm away and he can still cook the food he loved at home as a kid!

  • Sequins

Great recipe binder

I'm not a big fan of 6x4 recipe cards so I was looking for a binder for my 5.5x8.5 sideguards (which I also bought). Amazon, these designed for theater posters - see image). This one fits perfectly: it can hold 30-35 heavy (much thicker than the protectors that come with the binder) page protectors with 2 fairly heavy (almost cardboard) sheets each (I think if we have standard protectors and printer paper) . we can come up with 50-60 = 100-120 recipes, which is more than I have now anyway). In…

Great graphic folder for your whole family's recipes

This is a great recipe folder with enough space for all your recipes! There are plenty of half page recipe cards for all your short recipes and I love that they all have plastic protective sheets, especially as I am a very messy cook! I especially love the cute graphics on each recipe card as well as the cover! The only negative is that I wish there were more full page recipe cards! There are not many of them, and they are very difficult and almost rare to find anywhere!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Weight

It has everything it promises and is really big but very small.

. I thought it was like a regular sized folder, but it's small because a regular piece of paper is too small to fit in. My daughter is just learning to cook and at 9 it's perfect for her but will definitely need to be replaced in a year or two. That being said, I love all the accessories that come with it. Everything my daughter needs to write her own recipes. It also has a conversion table which also saves time. I'm glad I bought this!

Pros
  • . Outstanding overall performance.
Cons
  • . Frequency.

A little wrong but overall satisfied.

I received my recipe book today and I have to say that overall I am happy with it. I am not happy with how long it took (9 days) to get to me. Got confirmation that it was shipped yesterday and received it today so not sure why it took so long to arrive but oh well. i have it now Another thing is I'm not too happy about note cards being single sided only which confuses me because I bought an extra pack and they are DOUBLE SIDED. I was a bit misled by this as I knew I had read the spread…

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Mostly great for the kitchen and dining room

I bought 2 of these folders and they are great most of the time. Only 2 complaints: 1. The tabs don't extend past the edges of the sides so you can't see them (which defeats the purpose). If the book was only 1/4 inch wider, there would be room for tabs that are actually visible. I'm thinking about adding self-adhesive tabs at the top (where the book has a little more room).2. The design is a bit dated and uninteresting, and the included recipe cards are overly fussy/overly embellished. I chose
