Just what I was looking for for my 2006 Kodiak. A very clear difference to the old sealed beam halogens. Can't say anything about durability, but so far so good.

Fits GMC '82 without headlight housing modification; However, I repinned the connectors to match the truck's wiring harness. However, it was very easy to do. The high beams are insanely bright and the low beams seem dim, but I have a feeling this is due to the lack of real hotspots. They work great! Expectations were definitely exceeded. Also, I NEVER get people who flashed me to say they are too bright. Just a couple of notes, the lenses are plastic so they scratch easily and the installation guide is completely wrong. Easy to understand, but they're mostly backwards. Plus, they were easy to install and pretty much just plug and play. It only took me about 45 minutes from start to finish. I have a 2013 Peterbilt, maybe the manual will work for your trip.

I have replaced the high and low beams with 4 of these lights. Wow, what an increase in light output in low and high beam modes.
