Terrible Sausage Caulk for Adhesive Dispensers

This sausage caulk is a disaster. It's difficult to dispense, and the consistency is not smooth. The caulk dries too fast, leaving an uneven and rough finish. The only positive thing about this product is that it is a decent size. However, the quality of the product is poor. Don't waste your money or time on this industrial and scientific adhesive sealant.

Pros
  • Easy to apply with a standard caulking gun
Cons
  • Difficult to find in local hardware stores

A decent 20 ounces. Commercial sausage gun with sealant

Very similar to others [Avon/Cox] --> even seems to be of the same mold. We have used several of these and so far I have only seen one defect where the handle broke during use. This is for commercial sealant sold in 20 oz. Sausages like Dow 758 and VaproShield VaproLiqui-Flash. Be sure to clean after each use to avoid sticking. Oil filter wrenches and large channel locks work well if they get stuck. Not that I know of :))

Pros
  • Heavy leverage
Cons
  • unreliable

Complete junk, best power and hand tools

Spend an extra $10 on the Newborn or Cox option of this cartridge gun. It looks like it, but it isn't. Metals are not of the same quality. The design is ailing, everything dangles and dangles. Also, the kit does not include reusable yellow tips, but instead includes cheaper disposable white tips. A complete waste of money. As soon as I picked it up, I knew it was going to break. I'm installing Windows so I don't expect it to last long. Also, the piston in the Newborn is slotted so it doesn't…

Pros
  • Very durable
Cons
  • Rebore pack
