I bought this pump as one of the few condensate pumps that doesn't require in-wall installation. It was also the best brand I could find. Functionally it's great. Installation was easy and it works exactly as expected. However, it's too loud. I've done everything I can think of to muffle the noise and it's still unbearable. It would be fine for a place where people aren't sleeping or where there is background noise, but it's not good for a bedroom.

installed two of these pumps in a multi-zone mini-split system. The general consensus about the product is that it installs so essentially everything is glued, things can move, and the hoses kink easily. That doesn't seem like a solution that works for very long. I don't see this system running more than two years. In addition, when installed in a mini-split atomizer, the pump makes a rather loud noise. Consider ceiling mounting.
