I love this yarn for its depth, color and texture! Great for my projects and I've bought 3 packs in the last month. BUT: When I opened all the packages, each strand smelled strongly of mold. I decided to put the yarn in a laundry bag and send it in the wash. Machine (cold) before use. You need to unravel the yarn and lay it out to dry.
