The green 3tb series, the red 4tb, the black 1tb, the blue variations, and the two external passports are among my favorite WD products. Problems were only with the Seagate (there were three disks, all of which failed fairly quickly; there was one Toshiba in the laptop, but the shock sensor there repeatedly worked; problems were mechanical in nature).

Pros
  • The ride is excellent: CMR (not tiled), cool, quiet, and quick for 5400.
Cons
  • I really hope it's not too expensive.

3 stars, not 1y, only for the excellent work of , yesterday I handed over to the point of issue / reception, today the money was returned.

Pros
  • I always considered WD to be the best drives on the market, but I did not expect this . Maybe it's time to try Toshiba
Cons
  • I just died right after 5 minutes after formatting, as soon as I started copying the data, I clicked my heads .

Not a fan of WD, but most of the drives I've had are WD, many have worked for me for 3-5 years in 24/7 mode without problems and bad blocks, even everyone's unloved WD Green (now Blue).

Pros
  • - Quiet - Cold - CMR - Read / write speed more than 200mb / s at the beginning of the disk (and this is at 5400 rpm) - Suitable for work in Raid arrays - 3 years warranty

I want my money back! Disgusting product and poor quality.

I packed it according to the instructions, sent it by CDEK under warranty at the beginning of October to a WD service center in Hong Kong, having previously igned an RMA (warranty case). Two months fed me with promises about the consideration and lack of replacement hard drives, and two months later the answer came that the drive was damaged, the warranty was denied. They offered to send the useless brick back or dispose of it at my expense. Was a fan of WD, but this is sheer on their part.

Pros
  • did not find
Cons
  • the hard drive after installation in the system unit worked for 10 minutes. I started sending information to it, the speed dropped from 150 mb / s to 0, periodic squeaks appeared. Infa, which managed to sign up for the screw, was unreadable.

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Pros: everything was delivered on time, the blister was closed, and everything was wrapped neatly. Con: There is still a little over half a year remaining on the site for the 21-year guarantee that comes with one of the discs. You can say illiquid

If you are using an older system (like Windows 8.1 x64) with an older motherboard (such the ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo), there is a possibility that it may be identified with a lower volume (and you will be given the option to label it for a lower volume). Helps or markup from Windows 7 (10) on a chipset that was developed more recently. Or, looking for new drivers can be of assistance as well. It was helpful for me to use the driver from Intel R Chipset SATA RAID Co 11.7.4202201 rst. Even though it is

Pros
  • It's too soon to talk about the benefits because I just bought it three months ago. In a couple of years, we will find out. Unless, after checking, Victoria found that everything is in order.
Cons
  • It's too soon to talk about our inadequacies.

A similar hard drive (WD Red 3Tb) has been working flawlessly for over 7 years. Tests so far show excellent results, the disc is in great shape. With this instance, too, no problems have happened for 3 months. An important point is that WD Red Plus is a full-fledged analogue of the old WD Red with CMR. The new WD Reds feature tiled SMR recording technology. You can read about this in detail on the Internet.

Pros
  • High quality and durable hard drive. Quiet enough. The speed is decent. The disk is divided into 2 partitions, the speed test of these partitions is attached.
Cons
  • The price could of course be less.
