Great toy to play WITH your child

Great durable toy to keep my toddler active and playing. Bought this when my little one was 15 months. This is a toy you have to engage with your child with. She will pile balls in the toy and ride while I push her around. Added fun, my cat loves to sleep in it. She'll get mad and tell him to get off her toy. She's learning how to share. I do think it's a little pricey, but it's a quality toy worth the investment.

Pros
  • everything
Cons
  • It may not be interactive enough for some kids

Great toy for imaginative play

There are some reviews explaining that kids were bored with this and didn't play with it. I can see that being an issue, so I think this is a good item for when you're toddlers/preschooler (or older) is in a stage of starting to get a little "bold" with their body and what it can do! Our 2 yo daughter is just now testing what her physical abilities are, and this is fun for her. Our 4 yo has great gross motor skills and thinks it's great fun and a challenge. I am waiting for when they…

Pros
  • Encourages creativity and free play
Cons
  • It may not effectively engage some children

Our kids loved them an immediately started spinning

Our kids loved them an immediately started spinning, flipping them over and balancing on them, using them for cars etc. They spin well on carpet and tile. Even as an adult I could squeeze in and spin with the kids. I think these are better introduced at a younger age, but you definitely need to know your kids- if they are imaginative and like balancing then they will likely like these.

Pros
  • My grandkids are autistic. This has been a great addition for them.
Cons
  • The price may be too high for some families

Most kids loved it.

Our two-year-old thinks that it is a pretty good helmet or storage bin. The other kids at the Christmas party (18 months through 7 years) were all over it right away and seemed to really enjoy it. Very sturdy. Our little one felt a little insecure since it is not a balanced seat, but that is the point. I'm pretty sure that she will warm up to it.

Pros
  • The iconic shell shape and bright colors are immediately appealing, arousing curiosity, intrigue and commanding immediate attention
Cons
  • It may not be age-appropriate for some children

Lots of fun! best in my review

My kids love these (got one in blue too). They enjoy rocking and especially spinning, they like to see who can spin the fastest. They seem really tough too, very hard material, so hopefully they’ll withstand some pretty hard play. These are also great for pretend play not just motion play, put it over your head and boom you’re a turtle or Buzzy Bettle from Mario. I always enjoy finding toys that all 6 of my kids can play with despite age differences, and this is definitely a fun one! Highly…

Pros
  • Provides an alternative to traditional toys and activities
Cons
  • It may not be flexible enough to suit different play preferences

Lots of uses - my new review

So farThis was a hit with all my kids. I have 3 children aged 8, 3, and 11 months. They love rocking in it and climbing on the "giant rocks so we don’t step in the lava” They like pulling them with toys in them. Fun for all.

Pros
  • Provides a safe way for children to explore their boundaries
Cons
  • It may not provide enough opportunities for cooperation between children

A must have. for my opinion

These are perfect for a wide age range. Do fun and durable. Many uses. My kids love them. Perfect present for a 2-5 year old.

Pros
  • Very giftable. My grandson loves it.
Cons
  • It may not be durable enough for rough play

They love it in my review

Even though many would consider this an odd toy, my children love it. It was originally for my 2-year-old, but my 5-year-old and their 6-year-old cousin play with it as well. It has been a bed for dolls, a hat, chair, hiding spot, carrying container, and many more that I can't remember. Of course, they use it for sitting and spinning, although it does not spin very well on carpet.

Pros
  • Kid-O
Cons
  • It may not be sturdy enough for some children

Excellent toy best in my review

Excellent Toy that, at the moment, seems indestructible. My boys, ages 3 & 4, are very rough on things and this has held up. They spin in it, make tunnels for their cars to run through or over. It has been used for stepping stones and even just a balancing chair. We live in the south and do not have sleds. When an unexpected snow storm came thru we attached a pull rope to the holes and the boys used it outside. They could pull each other around and slide down hills - while balancing. A very…

Pros
  • Available in a striking red color that will attract children's attention

Great toy! best in my review

I had no idea what a hit this would be. I've never seen one before, though my 7 year old granddaughter told me she had them in her kindergarten class. My 2 year old grandsons love them and knew right away to sit and spin around on them. So sturdy my 11 year old granddaughter sits in it.

Pros
  • Can be used as a seat, a rocker, or a balance board
Cons
  • The innovation may not be enough to impress some parents

Leave it in class on my review.

We got this because my daughter liked to play with them in her Kindermusik classes. Since we got it, it hasn't gotten much use. It's versatile as a few things, but my daughter is too big for it now and it just takes up space. It's fun while the novelty lasts and while they are small.

Pros
  • I got 4 different colors for my grandkids and they love playing with them in multiple ways.
Cons
  • The size may be too small for some kids

Great for building core strength and coordination

My cousin's young daughter was born with some issues that cause her to have very low muscle tone and physical coordination. When I saw the Bilibo on sale, I immediately picked one up with her in mind. My sister, a kindergarten teacher, told me she'd read about them and that they are great for all kids, but that it would be especially useful to a kid who needs to work on coordination and core strength. From what I understand, they've been very happy with it. Although she was still a bit young for

Pros
  • 8K

  • It may not meet some parents' expectations

An excellent toy that is hard to explain

I have wanted to get these for my daughter for a long time. She's 2. It's one of those "imagination" toys. So, it's a little hard to explain to other parents what it is. But, my daughter likes to sit in it, climb on it, push it, pull it etc. It's strong enough that Daddy can stand on them, or crack up his daughter by trying to sit in it. Because it's not "for" anything, it's really endlessly fun.I recommend buying 2. That way they can stack together to create an "egg&#34…

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • It may not have enough value for some parents

Great open ended toy

My 4 year old daughter loves this thing. It is a hat, a monster mask, a stool, a seat, a sit and spin, a food bowl, and on and on. Never expected it to be such a big hit. I hoped it would be, but I had my doubts. Glad I decided to spend the money.

Pros
  • Great fun for 2 year old
Cons
  • The lack of structure may not appeal to certain children

Best toy ever in my review

I will admit I debated and thought about buying this toy much longer than any adult should spend thinking about toys. It seems like such a cool different toy on one hand but on the other it's so simplistic I worried it would be boring and would just end up wasting space. When my 7 year old was about 3 I thought about buying this toy and decided against it. Finally last Christmas they were on sale and I figured why not and bought it for her almost 2 year old little sister. We have now owned this

Pros
  • Can be used as a tool for educational activities and learning
Cons
  • It may be too abstract for some children to understand

Every kid should have one of these

Where was this two years ago?! I wish my son had one of these from when he was a baby. He’s been using it to help with balance, or to get his energy out as he spins on the floor. This is definitely a good gift for a sensory seeking child. I’ve even sat my baby in it to rock back and forth and he loved it. I purchased another one in a different color and plan on adding to our collection every so often. It’s extremely durable and such a simple toy that has many uses.

Pros
  • Non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals
Cons
  • It may not have enough functionality to hold some kids' interest
