Soft Yarn 🧶 in White by RED HEART Review

Purchased in white and ecru. The white is very spiky and the ecru is very soft. I had to look at the labels twice because I couldn't believe it was the same product. I want a white background for some of the baby blankets I'm making for a church project and I wouldn't use a scratchy white for a baby, but I wouldn't have a problem with the softness of the ecru color. The yarn is definitely soft and I was about to make a baby blanket for a friend. I couldn't even get to the second row without getting frustrated because it split like crazy and then knotted. I had to constantly remove the loops to start over. So I took the yarn in red, white and grey. I haven't had gray yet, but I took red and white and thought I'd at least start with those two colors. I have a sweater that I once knitted for my son that I wanted to copy for one of his daughters. The old sweater has 17 stitches and 25 rows for 4 inches. I was looking for a yarn that was tight and the ribs of this yarn were 17 stitches and 23 rows written by 4 inches on 5mm needles. So I started knitting.
