🧶 Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo Yarn in Light Blue: High-Quality, Economical and Versatile Yarn for Crafting Projects Review

Everyone knows the Super Saver. If you need a lot of yarn this is the way to go, but it's rough. I used shampoo and conditioner to soften up my project after I was done.

This is a good deal for the yarn you get for the price but the yarn is spikier than other brands making it less than ideal for making hats or blankets (which ones wanted I'm doing right now).

You can't go wrong with the Red Heart. Great for warmer projects and works well with looms and needles. Not very suitable for finer work. I managed to mix an afghan dress with dark blue wool and the contrast is amazing. It also washes well.

I am working on a large project and used to buy this yarn at Walmart. This has arrived and for comparison it is a different color and packaging. I don't think this is an original product, or maybe the seller is selling damaged items, like a defect? Anyway, I'm back and going back to Walmart to buy.

As a beginner crocheter I had no idea how much yarn was in it, it's almost the size of my cat. So much so that the next projects will also be blue. I'm working on a scarf that fits well. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. I had some issues with it coming loose a little after wrapping it around the brownies, but I think it's user error as it's not much and it wasn't there before. It's still usable and looks great. I look forward to getting other colors as well.
