This cap is much more rigid than the standard cap

Difficult to assemble. I couldn't manually insert it into the bumper of my 2020 Thor Quantum RV. I have to hammer it with a hammer. I will end up using it. I don't take it off regularly.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are nuances

DO NOT DO IT - Bumpers and Bumper Accessories

These end caps are made of hard plastic and are oversized for standard RV hollow bumpers. I had to carefully sand the connector to reduce the size to fit my bumper. Rubber stoppers are much better and retain enough friction to stay in place, but these don't!

Pros
  • Good Stuff
Cons
  • So Far So Good

Hard plastic that will NOT bang into a standard bumper

Even with a rubber mallet it won't fit into the bumper. I had to cut the corners with a hacksaw to get some flexibility and still had to use a hammer to set them in place. Terrible hard plastic that doesn't fit a standard bumper. Do not buy!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Well not what I expected but I think it works.

I thought it was rubber but it turned out to be more plastic. I had to knock out the edges of the bumper to fit it. Then I used a sledgehammer and he cut off the pieces that didn't fit. Getting in and out isn't easy, but it holds up.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best

Firm and Secure - Bumper Pad

As other reviews have noted, the cover is difficult to install. Shaving off one end and then pounding it with a rubber mallet (which everyone has, right?) helped. Since I don't keep my drain hose in the bumper, I don't need a screwdriver to remove the cover. I just needed a hat after losing it while on vacation in several states.

Pros
  • Snug
Cons
  • Disappear

Terribly HARD plastic

As soon as the Revain envelope fell on the kitchen table I realized it was very hard plastic. I opened the bag, it was actually VERY HARD, stiff, no flexibility and not thick plastic. When I tried it, it was room temperature. I had to slam it on my stock RV bumper/dump line holder. It was so hard and tight I couldn't get it out. I had to get it out, and then it broke into pieces. I will make sure soft rubber or plastic is mentioned in the description of my next order.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Get your job done, heavy duty bumper cover

It was quick, I lost one on the way and will need it at the next stop, kind of a purchase. When they arrived and I went to put them in, they didn't quite fit (we have a 2018 camper, the bumper isn't bent). They are very durable, made of thick plastic. I had to get a hammer to drive them into my bumper. I don't worry about losing them anymore, but they're really hard to get in and out of. I didn't think about the open squares in the middle either. They're great for venting the sewer pipe we keep

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • negative gift
