Installed on a 2005 GMC; The bumpers aren't thick enough as the tabs (where they go) almost protrude through the bumpers. They keep the tailgate nice and snug, but I doubt they'll last long.

Tailgate no longer rattles. Super price and fast delivery, I recommend. I used some 3M caulking glue because the notches on the mounts are a bit worn trying to stay in place.

They arrived quickly and fit great. The tailgate fits perfectly and no longer rattles. 5 stars for now, I will update if they don't hold up but they seem to be holding up well.

Easiest fix to my wobbly tailgate that was loosening the light window latches. I was pleasantly surprised that there was still one in the bag. I bought 2 sets just in case so now I have 4 extras!

2nd time I buy them for the same Silverado. The former replaced my missing originals. The 1st set took me about 3 years before the right side fell apart at some point. Hopefully that second set will last a little longer.

If your tailgate is rattling back and forth while driving on the road, you need to replace these bushings. Like any other rubber part, mine has become brittle after 20 years. I replaced them along with the tailgate cables and hinges.

I missed one of these bumpers and the other has become a bit stiffer over the years. As a result, the truck had a rattling tailgate. After installing this pair, the tailgate closes tightly, rattles and does not play at all.

I bought these for my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500HD after realizing one of my bearings was missing. They slide right in and fit just like the originals. Worked great. It's a small detail, but it does the important job of keeping the tailgate in a fixed position and without rattling when closed.
