Quality Product - Gear Oils

Helped my np242j shift smoothly for long periods, handles the heat that seems to fry other oils in my jeep transfer case.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

I am a member of the Church of Red Line Gearboxes

I understand people getting religious about their oil. I have a great experience with Red Line products. Not to say there aren't any good oils or fluids out there, but my personal experience is that my high-torque, high-torque BMWs that ride in 100 degree Fahrenheit + Arizona weather five months a year all get excellent protection from my redline -Had oil, differential fluid and water weather products.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Far fetched

it always shifts smoother and better, even under load

To be honest I've used most synthetic oils at some point and it was my first choice of ATF for two trucks and now 200,000 miles on it It also shifts softer and better under load while normally running cooler with a pot temp around 120-140. This is the only one I've tried that improves drivetrain feel even when partially filled. Will definitely try that next time I do my TransAm 6 speed that requires ATF and will update this after I do that.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great in my 12 Series Subaru Forester

If you have an automatic transmission Subaru from last year you know how finicky the transmission can be. After many attempts on my part I have come to the conclusion that it is excellent for this machine. I recently changed the transmission oil with Valvoline Max Life ATF after reading good reviews and finding it recommended as a replacement for Subaru ATF-HP. However, after making the changes, I noticed that the shifting was much more jerky and the transmission was a bit louder. At this point

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about this, everything is fine
