EXCELLENT BAG STAND AT THE RIGHT HEIGHT

this is a great bag stand that puts the bag at an ideal height. this can be used by real boxers. it is easy to put together. use common sense unlike these other weekend/fad trainers who complained about this stand in other reviews. TIGHTEN the bolts all the way and torque them good. USE SAND BAGS TO HOLD IT DOWN. it WILL lean a bit if hit at the right angle even with the sandbags but nothing to worry about. i practice power shots on this as well as kicks. its sturdy and i only have 3 sand bags…

Sturdy, large stand for home heavy bag use

I have a 150 lb heavy bag, which I'd originally planned to hang from a support beam in my garage or pergola. Well, no dice - the vibrations get transmitted into your house and eventually will shake the house apart, and I didn't want that. The 150 lb bag is too heavy for this stand - it's a no go - so I went out and got a 70 lb bag for this review. Sturdy stand good for me

Access to a decent hex bolt set makes assembly easy. Sturdy enough to hang a bag without weights. However, better to have weights at bottom before starting a vigorous workout.

Pros
  • Durability
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with excessive sweat during workouts

Does the job for holding a heavy bag

Sturdy. Holds our 100lb bag well with weights and sandbags on base. The red is nice looking in person. My husband has been very happy with this. Easy assembly (I needed some help with putting together a couple pieces but my husband had no problem). Does not take up a ton of space in our garage which is part of the reason we picked this one.

Pros
  • Made of durable steel construction and works well with a long bag - Size: 9.5-inch tall x 35-inch wide x 52-inch deep
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with limited space

I've always wanted to purchase a punching bag to add new exercises to my workout routine. Ultimately, I would prefer to have the bag hanging off the ceiling beam/rafter to allow for more mobility, but that was out of the question due to how my house was built. So, purchasing the bag kept being postponed year after year until I had a chance to review this Ringside Prime Heavy Bag Stand. The stand easily holds a 70 pound punching bag which I purchased at brick and mortar sporting goods for less…
