REDECKER Tampico Untreated Beechwood 9 Inches Review

I really like this product as our plastic brush had to be thrown away. I am grateful for a more sustainable alternative. Minus one star because we had a green film on a couple of the bristles like someone else was using it to clean the bowl of green veggies or something. I'm sure if I raised this issue the company would help to solve it. BUT it didn't matter to me or my husband. We just washed it well with our dish soap.

The price is outrageous, but we are completely satisfied. We like to just hang the brush on the dish rack. It's very hard to find these anywhere. Trust me I've searched. I put off buying it because of the price but decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. Husband is very happy and didn't bother asking the price is what I need to get rid of. I will likely be buying many more if you ever decide to stop making them.

On the 3rd day of normal use of the product, the wood began to crack (photo attached). So disappointed that it does a great job of removing all manner of food debris from plates and utensils including cheese. This is a good brush and cleans well. The bristles are strong enough to scrape food off the plate and when they aren't strong enough I use a plate scraper like it's a sponge. My only issue is that one night my husband left the handle in a bowl of water and the wood swelled up and now the metal parts that hold the wooden handle to the metal parts don't fit the wooden handle so I have to keep adjusting it. when washing dishes.
