Fantastic Finishing Sheets

These finishing sheets are an absolute game changer in my woodworking projects. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I know that these sheets provide a smooth and even finish to my wood pieces. The 220 grit is perfect for my needs and makes sanding a breeze. The durability of the sheets is impressive and they last for several projects. The only downside is the price, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality.

Pros
  • Smooth and even finish, durable
Cons
  • Pricey

Most Revolutionary Product in 40 Years

For over 40 years I have made handmade knives for a living. All along I've used wet or dry silicon carbide sandpaper on my disc sanders, and used it for hand sanding as well. I've only been using wet Rino for a few months and it holds at least 3 to 1 silicon carbide. I'm having a hard time with leftover silicon carbide because I know I need to use a different sheet. This product saved me time and money.

Pros
  • Power Sander Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • Out of Fashion

Excellent premium quality for grinding steel

This is specific to #220 in 9x11 inch arcs. I wasn't sure how this compares to my 3M "gold standard" for wet/dry grinding. In particular, I was concerned about aluminum oxide versus 3M silicon carbide. It turned out that my fears were unfounded. Sheets are more brittle and break easily when folded (or bent) on a sanding block. The scratch pattern left is more noticeable than that of silicon carbide paper - Rhynowet looks "scratchy". If you move through sand before/after #2000, it will come out…
