Beware this harness DO NOT directly plug and play, RED WOLF suggest solder connections and heat shrink tubing for best result. Match the wires directly color for color and make sure you note the ones with the seconds colors in them, example, green with black stripe ( speakers ) we would suggest some type of insulated connectors. In some case, you may had to move a pin for it to work with aftermarket stereo and get power from ignition with red cable provided to ensure there is 12 volts supply. This RED WOLF wire set is to replace your factory or broken stereo harness. If there are any confused, please contact us freely.

Don't waste your money

Faulty wiring harness. Didn't waste energy. Also terrible instructions. The device required an important red wire to operate, which was not mentioned at all in the crappy instructions.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Operating speed

Add instructions like other companies!

No instructions for connecting a separate red cable. Otherwise a good kit is well made. After the purchase, I found that I had to buy an interface to be able to use my stereo.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Worst Wiring Harness Doesn't Fit 04 Silverado

Worst product you can buy doesn't fit any of the power wires like dimmer/solid/etc to work is highly recommended. Do not buy, very disappointed! False advertising saying it is for my car in the description

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Not Bad

Will not work on Chevy Express Vans

This absolutely will NOT work on 2004 Chevrolet Express Vans. Wiring is in the wrong position and power up requires connecting an unknown wire that is not listed. Just buy the more expensive powered version and don't waste your time.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Fits

Good price, extra wires included

Typical GM radio wiring harness. Comes with extra pins for those with ON-STAR or Premium sound systems. . FYI if you need a 12 volt wire for the stereo you are installing. Go to the heater controls (not the fuse box) and locate the thin brown wire. Check if it is the correct cable.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Doesn't fit my car even though it says so.

. I spent hours taking my dash apart to install a new stereo, then trying to figure out why it wouldn't turn on. This was because this wiring harness is incorrect, the wires did not match properly. I ended up having to put everything back together and find another strap that fit properly.

Pros
  • Match the color of the wires directly to the color and be sure to remember the ones with a second color e.g. B. green with black stripe (loudspeaker). Some type of insulated plug is recommended. In some cases you may need to move the pin to make it work with the aftermarket stereo and get power from the ignition with the red wire to provide 12 volt power.
Cons
  • . Not sure.
