Very lacking installation instructions but seems very sturdy and even fits in the smaller chamber of my sump. I can't say anything about the overall performance, but I'm very satisfied

Fairly large; I like the shape and compact size compared to other shapes. Just one take, a long red hose, but I think that's enough. Draws tons of skimmate, works very well. The only downside I noticed is that it's quite noisy, not from the air hose but from the pump inside and the bubbling. Use on my 75g riff such a cool item

I have been reefing for many years but have never owned a skimmer with a built in pump. Never has a skimmer been as fickle as this one. I will set the inlet valve to 2 and after about 2 days the internal waste bin will be half full. I'll check again in 3 hours and the inner container is full! How can it go from half full to full in a few hours? There are far better options.

Excellent skimmer! Scrolling from the first minute. The installation is very simple and uncomplicated. Very quiet, love it! The packaging is excellent, everything came without cracks and even scratches. I put a 1/2 inch silicone gasket underneath to keep the skimmer at the correct water level. This little girl works so quietly it's almost intimidating. I keep checking the drip tray to make sure it's working. I doubt it. If you buy it you will not regret it. It replaces the Reef Dynamics skimmer

I bought this to replace two previous skimmers in my 55 gallon setup. The product is ready to use and it only took a few hours to set it up to get the perfect lather. Its design makes it easy to remove and clean the plate, and it fits perfectly in the tray. I currently have 26 triggers and it just fits in the chamber after it was returned. Great Skimmer. Good for tight spaces. Just make sure you have enough space under the stand to remove the top cup for cleaning. The 2.5 setting seems to be the perfect setting for my palette. I got it sitting exactly 8 inches of water in my sump and it worked great right out of the box. My only complaint is that I had trouble fitting the inlet into the acrylic hole in the base. I had to sand down the hole to make it a little bigger. It felt like the acrylic would rip just by sticking it in…
