Very high quality. on Weight distribution hitch

Thing works great and distributes the trailer weight perfectly. I have no control over towing my camper. Heavy duty means heavy. Very difficult.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • You could have gone for a newer model

Great hitch: Weight distribution hitches

Perfect like every Reese Profit I've owned. The installation took about 30 minutes. I emailed tech support on Saturday and received a response on Sunday. Wow!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Makes me angry

No more white knuckles

Sooo much better than the chain clutch I had with the little anti-snake system. I was always nervous about our old hitch. It is wonderful. I've got blood in my knuckles again!

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Looks solid: Couplers

The product seemed strong but the bars were too short for my trailer so I can't comment on performance. If your trailer is longer than 27 inches from hitch to hitch then this is not for you.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Hitch is very nice.

The product itself looks good but is missing parts required for installation. The packaging has been destroyed and I cannot use it until I locate and replace the parts that were not in the box. *updated* I contacted Revain and the return process was great. They sent me a new one before I sent the old one back. This hitch setup is amazing and I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Fits

Good distribution and surge protection

Hitch as advertised. I installed and towed an 8,000 pound trailer. Worked great. During the hour and a half drive home everything stayed tight. I recommend checking the tightness after each ride. Also, the installation is a bit annoying if you've never installed any of this before. I recommend not tightening the screws until you have everything installed. I had to unscrew it 3 times to get the correct tilt of the stabilizer bar. With on/off, the clutch was still there and pulled for about 45…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

A good hold just isn't great

So the hold itself seems very good. My biggest problem is with the shaft. There's quite a bit of dead space on the stock itself as you transition from lowering to raising, if that makes sense. For example I needed a ball 25 inches off the ground when the shaft is down the highest height I could set was about 17 inches pointing up towards the lift the lowest height I could set was about 28 inches. I ended up paying another $80 for a shaft that worked. Luckily, shafts are pretty versatile. Plus…
