Exactly as advertised

Exactly as planned. Did the job I had to do. Very happy with the purchase/product. Don't forget to buy the pen separately.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Available in white only

Robust and reliable: couplings

Exactly what I wanted. Super strong and durable part. Pin to pin was exactly 18 inches. Right now he keeps a 100lb generator with my RV slide in the back of my truck.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • nothing

Powerful extension does the job!

I use this to lower the tailgate and still use the trunk for the fertilizer machine (and the aerator too). This is a strong and well built hitch extension. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • So far so good

Top Notch Extension

This trumps anything I can do with it, to the limit of my car. Whatever I can add to my new truck's traction, this thing will top it. Solid welds - no "sand and paint materials" to hide the welds. All is well. Great packaging (see photo) and almost immediate shipping. 5 stars all day!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Secret

Improperly manufactured

The inner tube of the extension is welded too close to the coupling pin hole, preventing the coupling bracket from being pushed through the tube far enough to install the coupling pin. Thinking I might have a weird hitch mount, I tried two other mounts with the same result. It was badly built and I'm going back.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Bad design? Best in Hitches

I bought two of these to get the extra 3ft extension. One does not slip into the other, allowing the holes to be fixed. The depth of the open end wasn't enough to line up the holes, I had to drill to secure it with a bobby pin. For the same reason, none of my three clutch inserts lined up, so I had to drill holes for that as well. I still used it, and luckily only for towing the boat and not for towing the boat.

Pros
  • Handy Item
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Good product but not great

The product does its main job and does it well. But this is definitely not the best technical example. Most of the time, when a customer needs an enhancement, they want a complete, well-thought-out solution, not the beginning of a problem. There was no 5/8" extension pin to attach the extension to the auto hitch in addition to the original pin and pin clamp needed to connect the ball to the extension and secure everything in place. Additionally, there was no cable extension to reduce the…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are flaws
