Fits tight - paint needed sanding

Couldn't fit this into my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500's factory hitch. I had to sand down all the paint and then hammer it in with a small sled and winch to remove it. It's very heavy, real steel. As long as I have a hammer and a 2x4 piece I can use it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Perfect extension best for outdoor accessories

I have a special off-road jeep trailer and I bought it to extend my trailer (mounted on my trailer's tongue, not on my jeep) for better stability when Motorway/road use to be able to extend. Once I get to the trailers I will remove this extension for great terrain. This extension is perfect for my needs.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons

What I need, the best outdoor accessories

This is a heavy duty device. It will not break under any circumstances. This solved my problem and allowed me to extend the trailer just enough to fit my 15ft kayaks in the trailer and give me room behind the car. When using this device, you need to add two foot chain to the safety chain. Also, you'll likely need to add two legs to the wiring harness. worth your money.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Nice hitch extension

nice hitch extension. Fits snugly in the receiver so it doesn't rattle a lot. I wish it had safety chains but I'll make sure it works. Also, the inner rod doesn't line up exactly with the outer tube, so it points slightly toward the passenger side of the car. However, it's not enough to matter on it. I only noticed this because I built a tray over it and made it square in relation to the pipe. One corner is about 3/4 inch closer to the bumper than the other.

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • problem

Good towing solution with extended pickup

I bought this to extend the receiver hitch because my camper pickup is 18 inches longer than my truck. It's great for towing my 3000 lb boat. When towing, I didn't notice any particular rocking of the boat. I will also use it for my bike rack. Like other Reese products I've tried, this one seems very well built. A few things to note: - The extender is a 2" to 2" receiver - This extender is rated for a gross trailer weight of 4,000lbs. However, you must not exceed 65% of your car's tow barโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Disappear

The answer to my transportation problems. We have a 21 foot Micro Lite camper (5360 pounds fully loaded) and a four wheeler (708 pounds). For transport we use F150 "Short Box". Our problem was that we couldn't transport both because the tailgate had to be lowered and there wasn't enough room to turn. This extension extends the towbar box enough so that the tailgate does not hit the trailer. We had to add airbags to the truck to improve handling and support. You have to do it no matter whatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
