Works as it should but has a few flaws. The pinhole is near the end (not visible in the forged product photo) so it doesn't go very deep into the receiver. This allows for more play than usual, leading many people to spend money on a hitch tensioner to try and control the knock and rumble.

This one was a little cheaper than the last one I bought and is just as good. I was concerned that I didn't get the PIN and administrator. But then I discovered they were inside the block. If you want to loose a flat trailer and equal weight like sand etc, buy this 2 inch outboard receiver and ball, it will not transfer weight to the back of the trailer or to the nose of the trailer, which will make the load balance worse. I would easily give 5 stars if a coupling pin was included. I believe the clutch pin should be included as per the product description. In its current form, it might just be a pretty boat anchor. As for the hitch itself, I wouldn't worry that once it's securely inserted and "fixed" in its counterpart on my truck, it would work as advertised. Good fit and finish. The hitch is not that complicated and connects the trailer to the vehicle well. But there is enough play between this and my receiver that it can wobble up and down a bit and make a lot of noise. When I first heard this I thought for a second there was something wrong with the car, but it's more of an annoyance than a serious problem. I closed the gap with several layers of metal gutter material folded on itself and that helped in a pinch. However, there should be a better fit.

I think the only reason this hitch was probably scaled down is because the Revain photo doesn't show the pinhole while the other hitches do.
