Got a Class II receiver in a Class III receiver.

everything is fine. I had to drill a "bulge" in the receiver to get this coupling all the way in. I think I have a receiver vs. hitch class discrepancy, but I'm fine with that, I don't tow anything heavy.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • threadbare

Works, dangles in receiver but snaps easily

Reese Rod 21901 1.25". Works as it should but there is a lot of play. There is a lot of knocking and clanking in the receiver. I just gently wrap it tape to seal the boxes in 2 places along the length (to avoid creases) until it's tight. Now it's tight and quiet.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Does what I want

Does what I want. I added this because I have a bike mount that needs to attach to the ball mount. So I have one for towing and one for the bike rack. I was surprised that the part that fits into the frame of the car wasn't a piece like my old one. It looks like it will work fine.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some problems

Great bracket for Subaru Outback 2010

I installed it on a 2010 Subaru Outback for a family member and it worked great. The 2 inch ball fitted perfectly and allowed us to pull the lightweight trainer with no issues. I would recommend using a hitch locking pin that actually inserts the clip through the pin instead of these friction fit clips.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Brilliant design, super easy to use.

It has a patent for a good reason. Instead of two giant wrenches (which you probably don't have unless you're a shopkeeper), a standard-sized wrench is enough to secure this thing. There are no flaws in the design, it's just awesome intuitive engineering. I would never buy one again, fight with them and enjoy how easy and reliable it is.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Missing listing information

Distance from mounting pin to center of ball hole is 9 inches, related information is not included in the listing. The actual distance is 9 inches, which is too short for my application. When asked, the customer replied that the distance is 10 1/2 inches, which would be fine if it were accurate, and based on that I made the purchase. We appreciate it when the seller has provided important and accurate information so that you can make an informed purchase.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Zero

Sent without any protection.

What can Revain have to ship this item without a box? You could use at least a padded envelope! I live in a state where salt is used on the roads and this thing is starting to rust in spots that have chipped off in transit! End Rant / Well, as for the drawbar itself, that's exactly what I need. We already had one with a 2" ball for our Outback 08, we only needed that and a 1 and 7/8 ball so we could tow trailers that use this type of ball as not every trailer has a universal hitch. Device like…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
