No tear-off collar.

It really is very durable. I tried testing the strength by holding it together and trying to pull it apart. It won't fall apart, and believe me I've tried. I can't let my kitten carry it outside because I'm afraid she will get caught and won't be able to free herself.

In Considering the price and the way you get a lot of collars this is a great value the collar works well overall and has withstood our cats outdoor lifestyle the bell however didn't get very far and fell off within a week overall good Price-performance ratio
