I have this wrap to match my Spiral Duct Wrap insulation to keep surface temperatures on AC exhaust pipes down. Ideal for work. My only issue with this is that the sticky backing requires some work to start peeling. After that heartbreak that can really hurt when you only have one hand and the other is holding the bandage you want to keep in place, it stays in place perfectly!

At the moment I am using it in an unusual application, not at all like what I bought it for. Hopefully it will stand up to the summer heat. Later I will use it to seal the insulation on my portable air conditioner hose. Haven't gotten to it yet, but I have a lot more confidence that it will do the job now that I'm using it elsewhere. Very easy to apply and seems to stick well in weird hot situations. I'll report back if my experiment fails.

I bought this to hold the insulation wrapped around the portable air conditioner hose. At first everything worked fine and I was very happy with the purchase. But after a month of daily use in such heat everything was flaking off, the insulation from the hose was flying off. I have to re-glue the parts with tape. I don't know if the hose got too hot and detached. Or if the reason is too high humidity recently. So next year I will try another brand.

I bought this tape to use on a homemade Reflectix insulation shell for my homemade gear. I needed heat resistant tape. It's nice, wide and very sticky - be careful not to accidentally hit anything as it's impossible to remove entirely. It's easy to shape around corners as it looks like a piece of tin foil once the backing is removed. Removing the pad is a little tricky so use a sharp edge like an X-Acto knife to remove the pad.

Bought this tape after researching online recommendations for insulating portable air conditioner exhaust hoses which can get very hot with these rather inefficient devices.
