Use it to test my mist coolant on my CNC router

Use it to test my mist coolant on my CNC router. My coolant must be at least 3.0 BRIX. This is a quick and easy way to test it out.

This inexpensive, easy to use device shows the sugar content of maple sap. You can easily and quickly determine which trees are the best sugar producers.

Cheap and not accurate.

didn't report exactly the correct level compared to our currently more expensive Brix block. Bought so we could have a backup of our current brix block and it didn't even come close to our expensive brix block. It was rejected by about 7%, which is very inaccurate.

Works well! in Test, Measure & Inspect

I'm taking a machining class at a local college that has expensive Haas tools, including a refractometer worth over $100. This works just like in college. I'm glad I bought it. I have confirmed that my coolant is not too diluted to continue using until new coolant arrives.

but I'm older and don't have very good eyesight so I could be the problem.

This particular model is a little hard to spot but I'm older and don't have very good eyesight so there might be a problem with it, it works great and I'll leave it has a very nice body and a Screwdriver for adjustment, in general a very good device.

Oh my god this is just what I need

I had no idea how thin my coolant/water mixture was until I got this little thing. I had less than 3% coolant now I'm at 8-9% which is what I need. So yeah love this little guy, love the little case it comes in, love the coolant where it should be. Love it. Many Thanks. BOOM.

This is a good device, but choose a higher range for coolant testing.

I bought this to test the coolant concentration in my cars, I should have chosen the one with the higher limit. This scale only goes to 10 and the ideal coolant range for my application is 7.5, 20 or even 50, that would be better, it was my oversight not the seller's fault. This device is easy to read and easy to calibrate. The cost was reasonable and the delivery time was quick. I haven't had the device long enough to speak of its reliability over time, but the lack of moving or electronic…

0-10% Brix - test, measure and verify

I work for CNC machines , we just switched to this new coolant is flowing at 3% where the old coolant was running at 7% and we still have 5 oscillations. Runs on old coolant so I was able to test both. At first I thought it was bad because the reading was so faded that I couldn't see it, but after I put a few drops of water in it and zeroed it out. I tried again and it read perfectly and I could see I was reading perfectly. definitely worth the money. good price . You just have to calibrate it…
