I purchased this unit after receiving two Acu-Rite sensors/alarms in a row with similar functionality that were NOT WORKING. They were sent back to Revane. I bought this despite very few "shot in the dark" reviews and it worked great. Easy setup, first crack worked right away. Let's see if it holds now.

signal strength is excellent, monitor is in my kitchen and transmitters are in freezers in different rooms, one in freezer in back room of garage at distance of 30ft goes through 3 walls. Initially I had sporadic alarms until I realized that the high alarm needed to be set high enough to allow for freeze defrost cycles. I've had the device for about a month and so far it's been very reliable and accurate.
