This helps me to keep an eye on the freezing temperature both in the basement and in the kitchen. Have been using this for a while and it seems very reliable.

This product never worked properly to begin with. One of the sensors is not working. Another sensor changed four sets of batteries in a month. The manufacturer does not provide any information to contact them about this crappy alarm. Keep shopping and don't buy this one.

I have never written a one star review but unfortunately deserve it. When first shipped the second thermostat only lasted about an hour before dying so we ordered a replacement. The same thing happened with the second delivery, but after a day and a half. Now two weeks later the base has died and the return date for the first order has passed so we are unable to get a replacement. Description is inaccurate. It says "2 AAA batteries for the host, 4 x AAA batteries for the sensor (not included)" but it actually uses (2) AAA batteries for the host and (2) AA batteries for each sensor (total 4 x AA batteries) required. The first unit I bought was easy to set up with sensor #1. When plugging in #2, the temperature never showed on the screen, although the red light was flashing when I put the batteries in. Then the #2 battery spring broke when I was plugging and unplugging the batteries and checking for the problem.
