Freezer timer: Fridge thermometer

This helps me to keep an eye on the freezing temperature both in the basement and in the kitchen. Have been using this for a while and it seems very reliable.

Poorly designed and never worked properly

This product never worked properly to begin with. One of the sensors is not working. Another sensor changed four sets of batteries in a month. The manufacturer does not provide any information to contact them about this crappy alarm. Keep shopping and don't buy this one.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • No machine

The circuit boards are defective

I have never written a one star review but unfortunately deserve it. When first shipped the second thermostat only lasted about an hour before dying so we ordered a replacement. The same thing happened with the second delivery, but after a day and a half. Now two weeks later the base has died and the return date for the first order has passed so we are unable to get a replacement. When it worked it was accurate, but there is something wrong with the inner workings of these kits. Maybe we got…

Inaccurate information

Description is inaccurate. It says "2 AAA batteries for the host, 4 x AAA batteries for the sensor (not included)" but it actually uses (2) AAA batteries for the host and (2) AA batteries for each sensor (total 4 x AA batteries) required. I bought three of these items and (18) new batteries which I had to return as these companies didn't know what they were selling. It is absolutely pathetic that another company is being financially penalized for the lack of parts from this company, not to…

The first one was broken

The first unit I bought was easy to set up with sensor #1. When plugging in #2, the temperature never showed on the screen, although the red light was flashing when I put the batteries in. Then the #2 battery spring broke when I was plugging and unplugging the batteries and checking for the problem. The alarms are easy to set up, but when I put #1 in the freezer, the temperature eventually (after 1/2 hour) dropped to 64 degrees and stayed there. Now, of course, because it was higher than my…
