Like having extras at a good price. I didn't find a 1 inch length in hardware stores, only 1.25 inches. The pin appears solid, but a stronger keyring has been chosen to enhance the pull function.

I bought quick release canopy pegs to replace clip on pegs. Clips can easily be lost. Drill a small hole in each fixture where the pins go and attach the coated wire rope to the fixtures and the other end of the wire to the rings on the bimini quick release pins. So when I remove the pins they can dangle and not get lost. Everything works great.
