I have a reliable steam iron and I like it. I bought it so that the small iron could be easily moved into my sewing area. There are many things that didn't work for me. I connected a large grounded wire to make sure it was long enough - no, it wasn't. It was plugged in for less than a minute and got very hot - too hot for plastics - no on/off switch - or temperature setting in seconds. You plug it in and it gets HOT.
