Finally a latch that fits my soft case. The cabinet has a rectangular shape and the doors converge at an angle of 90 degrees to each other.

Looks like a quality product, just a little larger than I expected. I'm sure I won't put it to good use for a future project, but not for this particular project I bought it for.

I was able to salvage some badly abused flight cases at my sound company. So far they are working very well. They fit snugly in every case I've repaired with devices of the same size. I've installed a dozen or so and each has been a great replacement.

They're meaty. I made a Pinewood Derby display case that opens in half and used these to enclose it. They do their job well. Some people have complained that they didn't invent the screw. I prefer to use screws that are appropriate for the job, so I don't think this should be a problem for most DIYers.

I bought this as a chest for our stable. They were never exposed to the weather, but were always kept in a latrine in the barn. At first they ran well and did their job. In less than six months, part of both transoms was badly corroded. Aesthetically it looked terrible right on the front of the trunk, which I spent several hours trying to pull off. I've since taken them off and thrown them away. I'll look elsewhere for equipment.
