Comfortable but a bit long

I have circulation issues in my left leg so when I'm on my feet all day, I have swelling and a lot of pain. My last pair or compression stockings are nearing replacement time so I thought I'd give these a try.I'm a pretty big guy so I got a pair of the x-large. The fit is pretty good, the only issue, the length is a bit too long for me. I had to fold the top of the stocking over a few inches which isn't a huge problem early in the day but after 8 or so hours, it causes the area just below my…

Pros
  • Hard to put on !!
Cons
  • To hard to get on and off

If you have to wear them, these help with the annoyance

I've had to wear compression stockings for longer than I'd ever hoped due to hereditary bad genes and hated the tightness around my toes. My father had tried open toes before and didn't like the constriction of them. I gave it a shot hoping something had changed over the past 20 years. These are wonderful, well as wonderful as compression stocking can be haha. There is no tightness around my arch (or slightly forward just under the toes, have no idea what that area is called lol). They go on…

Pros
  • NV4465BG-3L
Cons
  • I ordered the right size. Awful that they actually made my moderate ankle swelling worse.

First experience with compression socks

I have never tried compression socks before. I don't have diabetes or another medical condition, but I thought that with getting older (50) and just having general aches and pains, these might make my legs/feet feel better. I also liked that they were toeless--I have slight bunions, and my toes tend to feel smashed in some shoes and with some socks.I got the large size with heavy compression. These were VERY difficult to get on. I followed the directions about turning the socks inside out, but…

Pros

Cons
  • May not be suitable for individuals with sensitive skin

Cute for Toes and Cooler

This version of compression stockings is a little cooler as it exposes toes and therefore, sandals are an attractive shoe choice. However, the absence of closed toes allows the stocking to move and sometimes constrict at the ankle. A little adjustment sets all right again, but be aware that this could occur. The preceding is the reason a 4-star rating was given. The 3-star rating for durability is average and applies to both closed and open-toed compression stockings by this and other makers…

Pros
  • Nylon/spandex blend is durable and easy to care for
Cons
  • May not be effective for all types of leg pain or discomfort

Compression support socks

Medical Compression Stockings that come in a variety of compression strengths. This pair is a 20-30 mmHg which is considered heavy support for progressive symptoms. These are durable, easy enough to put on, stays up (knee length) and good quality. They are very helpful & beneficial for improved circulation and blood flow from the legs! Good product, but not for me.

I have really tight calves and was told that I could probably benefit from compression socks. There are some great things about this product. I appreciate that they are made in the US. I think these are very durable and will last a long time. I also like the open toe concept. They are latex free for those who are allergic.I had a really hard time getting these on. So much, I never want to try again. I also try not to buy items that are hand wash only. Just an added aggravation when I'm sure…

Pros
  • Can be worn alone or paired with other compression garments for added support
Cons
  • May cause uncomfortable pressure points or tightness in some individuals

I honestly do not feel that the "heavy compression" is all that heavy. Some compression socks actually feel like I am cutting off my circulation. These feel like a medium compression sock. I got the medium size which is good for a woman's size 9 foot. They are open toe as other other plantar fasciitis socks. I was able to wear these all day with a pair of ankle socks over them (as I am not fond of open toe). They worked well for me.I washed them in a lingerie bag and laid them flat to…
