You should get this if your current flex pipe is leaking.

Did a great job fixing my leak and got me through my MOT. If your flexible pipe has a leak, it cannot be fully patched. It must be welded to an existing pipe.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Perfect renovation! good for tailpipes and tips

So if you know what you can do and weld then I highly recommend this product. FYI, for DIYers, stainless steel is too strong to clamp, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking to try. Also, be sure to carefully measure the diameter, bend length, and overall length.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Ideal for 2.25 " exhaust pipe.

Other reviews say it's too tight inside but the one I got is perfect. The ends are sized to fit a 2nd .25" exhaust pipe. The inner cone will fit your 2.25" exhaust pipe I.D. without any restriction. Because of the bad reviews, I almost gave up.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Negative point exists

2007 Toyota Camry 2.4L Flexpipe

Excellent quality, will definitely be ordering more. This was the closest flex pipe I could find online that fits the Camry 07. Yes, it required modifications, but it's an exhaust, you often have to flare, weld, cut or splice. I opened up one end a little to fit the pipe and shortened the other end by about an inch. out. Fits great.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good quality and fit

Install it on the ends of the previous flex pipe welded to the original exhaust pipe. I tried band clamps but they are not tight enough, I ended up welding them on for a better seal. The quality of installation is good, only time and the road salt this winter will tell for sure. You've saved a ton of money by not going to a muffler shop if you have the DIY skills.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Not great for tailpipes and nozzles

For the most part this is a good flex pipe. However, in most cases it has to be welded on to avoid leaks, since it is usually installed BEFORE the catalytic converter. The braided/flexible part of the pipe seems to be of pretty good quality but the tailpipes are quite thin and if you have to widen them even a little to fit the pipe they only get thinner. While welding this to an existing pipe I had to turn the heat/current setting completely off to prevent a hole in the pipe.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Tradable

I bought this one thinking the inside diameter would be at least 2-1/8" 2". The mesh runs inside in. For this reason it is 3 stars. Looks good. Have to buy a larger size and downsize to make sure I get the 2-1/8" inner diameter I need. Packed ok and looks like stainless mesh but not sure if the outer tubes are stainless. They look like aluminized or mild steel.I would buy again knowing what I know now.Hope this helps someone choose the right part.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
