If you have thick, curly hair that is making it difficult for you to sleep, do yourself a favor and order a flat iron as soon as possible. I've been using CHI for over 10 years and converted. This straightener cut my styling time in half and left my hair silky smooth. I have very thick hair and only had to put it on a low/medium setting. Great straightener! I bought another one from Revain which claimed to be professional but it was only great at the highest temp and it got too hot outside. So I wanted something cheap and good, as I'm new to beauty school it works well! Curls, seals the ends, leaves hair shiny, love it! I wish the cord was longer, although it's only about 2 feet long and gets tangled a lot due to the material that's covered with the fabric.

I've been using CHI Air for a few years now and was just looking for a cheap travel straightener. This iron comes with a hinged closure and a heat resistant pouch. Very good value for money. The bag alone would cost $10+. In addition, it offers amazing performance. Fast heating, long plates for even heating. I can straighten my hair in one go. Now I can't live without it.
