Bought for my cat. Too slow and too weak. This thing is similar to HexBug, only 10 times bigger. I couldn't slide it under the shipping paper. The remote has a ridiculous sliding cover over the buttons.

So the point here is to scare people into thinking it's a real cockroach. Impossible with big flashing red and blue lights like this police cockroach. Took tape wrapped headlights that work fine.

The videos make this look so much more real and fun than it is (too many flashing lights) and it doesn't even move on carpets or rugs. The dogs looked at him worriedly for about 10 seconds and then left. Well what a junk box.

Bought for a raffle and it's huge. It's bigger than my baby's hand. Maybe the size of my entire palm. It also has a red, white and blue backlight so it doesn't look real even at night. Although my 4 year old enjoyed playing with it.

When I got it I wanted my money back at first because I couldn't figure out the remote control and the light was too big. Instead of getting mad and giving one star like everyone else, I followed the instructions to turn off the light and read on the remote. My kids have had a great time with him. I appreciate the volume because you can easily lose that cockroach. This is great for my favorite colleague's prank!

damn loud 3 times I used it before it broke completely. At first he stopped responding, I can't tell you how quickly he started clicking so loud even if the person you were trying to scare was looking at him while you were trying to get him to move, just made laugh. Instructions require serious work. Apparently there are tutorial videos on YouTube. You have to slide the top back to reveal the buttons. Only 2 works, forward and to the right (which turns in a tight circle). Mine works on channel "A". You said to review each channel (slider on the side) before rejecting it.
