The new pup chewed on our remote control so we needed a new one for our JBL SB450 soundbar and it came with a battery and worked flawlessly right out of the box. Very happy!

The remote control comes without instructions, so if you're unlucky and it doesn't work automatically, you have no choice but to return it. I should know, I've had no luck with either of the two I've gotten to work with my Boost TV.

Most important works remotely - check. I had to replace the one the dog ate. It seems a bit slow to respond, especially at volume. Update: Must be very close to the soundbar for functions. Better than crawling on the floor - it works better than nothing.

I bought this remote when I couldn't find the original remote for my soundbar and it works just like the original (which I later found). I still use it. I have remotes on both sides of my living room so there's no need to carry them around. I do the same with my TV remote so I always have my media controls at hand. It's great quality and I highly recommend it.
