Quality Pressure & Vacuum Gauge Gauge

This was just what we needed to replace the previous gauge that we had left outside when the outside temperature dropped a degree or two below zero. We drained the hose and gauge and left it hanging over the electric meter to continue draining the hose and gauge. Bad plan, should have brought the sensor in. Apparently there was still enough water in the pressure gauge that when it was reconnected it couldn't read any more pressure. This new pressure gauge replaces our existing and relativelyโ€ฆ

Very Well Done

I ordered one of these to replace the cheap plastic gauge that was installed on my fountain. The original gauge has been replaced by the drill 5 times in the last 3 years so I was looking for one that would last a little longer. When the sensor arrived I was impressed by the fact that it consisted of a stainless steel body with a glass crystal. Not the usual plastic stuff that the weather breaks down here in Florida every few months. In fact, I liked it so much I ordered a second one to put onโ€ฆ

Good sensor, but this one is useless. Although there were good reviews.

Don't write too many bad reviews. Especially when I consider the country of origin. BUTT, that Milton gauge is, I hope, just a one-time manufacturing defect. I think the photo will speak for itself, but there are rough grooves on the threads that let air through, even with Teflon tape. The only solution would be epoxy or cured thread sealant, but NEVER. I just had to share this with you all. Ironically I asked Revain to send me another one because I didn't want to believe that all or even aโ€ฆ
