Description of 🧪 Bio Extreme Temperature Lubricant Tapes, Adhesives & Sealants by Renewable Lubricants

Bio-Extreme high temperature oven lubricants are unique biobased food grade1 lubricants fortified with synthetic food grade white graphite. These (Biopreferredsm,) products are free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and provide an auto ignition temperature (ASTM D-659) of over 371 degree C. Products provide improved extreme pressure and lubricity after black graphite, Teflon, and molybdenum disulfide lose their lubrication between 400 degree C and 500 degree C. Bio-Extreme high temperature oven lubricants are environmentally responsible products that are formulated from renewable agricultural plant resources. Bio-Extreme high temperature oven lubricants do not dissipate, but leave a soft semi-solid to solid film on the lubricated surface of the links, pins and rollers.

Works great

Tried several other so called 'high temperature' greases but the results were disappointing. This one actually worked well in the oven I use regularly at 450F. Racks no longer creak.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

As a thick liquid

I made a mistake and left my Thermador drawers in the oven during the self-cleaning cycle. It stuck to the existing bearing grease and the shells were fully wedged. I thought they were damaged. Since this Bio-Extreme grease is almost like a liquid, I just poured it straight from the container onto the bearings. Now the trays slide smoothly like new. It is similar in consistency to liquid dish detergent. At first I thought a gallon would be too much, but now that I've watered it I understand…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

We also make the mistake of leaving Thermador telescopic racks + regular racks in the oven during the self-cleaning cycle. They were all slightly yellowed and very cold, even the standard frame was difficult to pull out. The husband dismantled the railing, moistened it, dried it and reassembled it easily. We also wipe down the normal shelves, now everything slides like new. We kept the used lubricant separately in a glass bottle for future maintenance. Tip: Leave one intact as an example so you

  • New
