I went and bought the exact same product from Petco and they were fine (toned down as usual). I can see that Revain pellets (even before soaking) are slightly finer and denser than Petco before soaking.

These bullets are kind of hit or miss. My bearded dragon personally loves them. He prefers to eat them dry rather than soaked/soaked in water.
