A very simple solution to an annoying problem. I had carpet installed and the installer broke open 7 doors in 2 rooms. My shutters are almost 40 years old so I wasn't surprised. The only problem I have is removing the old pins. They were glued on and old and I found using a drill to carefully drill out was the easiest and cleanest way to remove the old plastic without damaging the wood. They look great now and will probably last another 40 years 😀
