Very easy setup of the IR repeater

I bought this kit to control all my components from the outside of a closed cabinet. Installation took only 20 minutes and everything worked without any adjustments. That works great.

Beautiful Light Show!: Remote Control Extensions

Nice light show, but nothing more. All lights flash as they should, but nothing happens. I've tried all the different ports for the receiver and transmitter and still nothing. I read the instructions for my device, found the receiver and still nothing. OUT

Still looking for something more powerful

Use this to increase the range of my remote by 15 feet. FAIL The range of the transmit LEDs is terrible. Lights should generally be placed within one inch of the device being controlled. The receiver is weak and not responding to the Logitech Harmony remote. The only reason I chose to keep it was because it worked on my devices that were out of my remote's view.

I like it in Accessories & Consumables

This was one of the easiest things I've ever installed. This particular model appears to be an upgrade from previous models with a smaller frequency range. It's basically plug and play. I just hooked it up to two devices (a 6 year old Pioneer Elite home theater receiver and a 3 year old Sony Blu-ray player) and it works great. For the price you can't go wrong.
