This remote works great with my Roku 3! All I had to do was insert the batteries and everything worked right away. I also appreciate the fast shipping as I wasn't able to use my Roku until I received the remote.

Worked fine on arrival with Roku 3. Had to put my own AAA batteries (two). This is an IR remote, so you must point it at the device (the Roku device must be in line of sight). Does not work over Wi-Fi like the original remote. But a good machine for the price. Should I encounter a premature failure I will update this review.

I wish I knew more about what to look out for when replacing our remote control. Apparently you need to read the entire description of the product. Although I was looking for what I thought was a simple replacement, this was the choice offered. But not like this. You really can't get another remote if your Roku is a Stick. Now I know.

It just registers that I pressed the button about every time I pressed it. Sometimes I can press it four or five times before it finally does something. But I think it serves its purpose to replace our original remote which was broken. It's definitely more convenient than using the app on our phones. And it was pretty cheap.

Works great with all my Roku 2 but just as easily lost as the original. I don't understand it myself but we bought two of these to replace the two we lost and they didn't even make it to the weekend and we lost another remote. Four Roku, three remotes. *sigh* Anyway, the only "warning" is that the buttons feel softer than the original, so you'll have to press them a bit harder.

Works but disappointing. Probably six dollars. It's even better and more convenient to use my phone as a remote, but it's not as functional as the original remote that came with the Roku2 that I have. There's often a large delay (20 seconds or more) with the Roku flashing to indicate a transmission was received but no action was taken. Also the navigation buttons seem "spongy" and no command is sent when clicked. It feels like you've pushed a button, but it's not. This differs from the above…
