After I put it to the test, I was amazed at how simple and seamless the setup process was for this replacement part. It perfectly matched my television's model and works like a charm. We still have a whole library of VHS tapes (nobody needs them!). When the Blitz unwrapped our DVD/VHS player, we were lucky that a family member had to get rid of one. We found this remote and it worked great. I think we can still go old school!

While this works with the SONY SLV-271P, it's not fully compatible: the row of buttons doesn't work, meaning you'll have to reconsider how you navigate between options etc. Still, it's better than not being far away at all. Anyway, if you think you can't remember, "oh, I should press this instead like I do on all my other remotes," this night won't be the right choice for you.
