Description of 🧲 4 Pieces of Replacement Push-On Alligator Clips for Multimeter Test Leads

Push-on alligator clips for standard test leads. Insulated with rubber boot; push-on mount. Easy to connect multimeter test probe. Soft rubber boots, and the alligator clips are even coated with plastic on the outside to insulate from a short circuit. The metal openings are large, solid and ribbed; this makes repeatedly pulling the clips on and off of the leads simple and quick without fear of weakening the connection and compromising the signal integrity.

Terrible quality multitester

I used these clamps once and they never stayed on my test leads again. I pulled out my boot and found no device to connect to the probe. It was just metal, with nothing compressed so it wouldn't bend. I threw them away.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Revainrating 2 out of 5

cheap imitations suitable for multitesters

Nothing bad about them except that they are cheap alligator clips that have been "crimped" to accommodate bulk goods. They don't last after two uses. If you have to get through it, do it. If you have a lot of work to do on lead clips, look for something better (and more expensive).

Pros
  • trial period for one year
Cons
  • functionality

Cheap and quick way to add clips to your multimeter

These are perfect for your small multimeter. I can't speak for other brands but I think they will do. The probe tips fit into corrugated metal slots on the back of the clamp. This is a quick and inexpensive solution. The slots can loosen and the shielding is a bit clunky, but that's not a problem so far. Yes, it's far better to just buy a set of wires with terminals, but I just keep them in my tool box for when I need them sometimes and they work.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Cheaply made, poorly attached

See attached picture, I think it speaks for itself. Black Fluke right alligator clip with matching socket. They are on the left, with a broken crimp connection. This type of test lead alligator clip is designed to attach to a standard needle probe, pointed type with a small retaining ring near the tip to secure it. These cheap fakes don't work that way. It's very clear what they did here; They use a standard alligator clip designed for crimping onto bare wire. You broke the crimp end of the…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No rifle
