These are perfect for your small multimeter. I can't speak for other brands but I think they will do. The probe tips fit into corrugated metal slots on the back of the clamp. This is a quick and inexpensive solution. The slots can loosen and the shielding is a bit clunky, but that's not a problem so far. Yes, it's far better to just buy a set of wires with terminals, but I just keep them in my tool box for when I need them sometimes and they work.
