Works as described for Interior

It only took three minutes to open the old key, move everything and snap the new one in place. I have a feeling some people might not realize you need to put the blade in place and instead try to just snap face down. I could understand why this made her think something was wrong. Maybe add simple instructions for that.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern

It was definitely the best option.

I bought two different brands and the other brand was from two blue packs. I'm trying to pick up the blue one and cut it all the way through to measure the hole the screw goes in and it didn't work. Tried this and it was the best choice. It has the Honda logo on it and is worth the money.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great replacement for the price!

Ideal for repairing a broken key. As a result, the shape of the key is stable and not wobbly like it used to be, and still looks authentic. Good quality plastic for the price. The only thing I noticed is that you have to be careful how far you screw the screw in as it can push against the case causing it to separate again. Otherwise it works fine

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some small things

Can the key switch be defective?

This didn't work with my 2011 Honda Pilot Key. I don't think it was a problem with the remote or the key itself, but with the part that holds the key so it can be properly attached to the key fob. I've attached two photos to show you what the problem is. Each piece is well secured until I got to the bottom corner and was able to close it. Even with strong pressure I could not close it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • So-so

Perfect fit and solid replacement but short lived

When my original Pilot key fob broke I was concerned that I would need an expensive replacement from the dealer. This aftermarket replacement came with simple instructions and is more durable than the original when new. Great find for a very specific problem. Update: While all of the above seemed true at the time of writing, the replacement collapsed less than 6 months later.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • old

Doesn't work with my 2006 Accord

I have installed key parts from my original key fob into a new key fob case. It didn't quite fit. The case didn't close completely, but it was better than what I had. I tried. The engine started but would not start. I tried several times over the next 30 minutes. I thought there might be something wrong with my car. So I replaced the key parts with the original key fob again and the car started on the first try! Went to the beer store and got an F! [What happened to my car? My guess is the…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some issues

I ordered it because the screw on the old key fob fell out (Honda Pilot 2010). I just couldn't find the screw. At only $8.99, I thought this would be a good replacement, if not overkill. However, the old case isn't completely disassembled (the back comes off, the electronics come out, but the metal part on the front doesn't come out of the old case. So I figured I could use the new back) and screwed it on. But the new back doesn't quite match the front of the old case. So I figured I'd just use

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are nuances

2005 Pilot - Screw sticks out

I bought to replace a broken key fob on my 2005 Honda Pilot. My key was knocked completely out of the case. I have replaced the battery in the key fob 2 times on each of my key fobs (the first time I made the mistake of not doing anything myself but paying $75 at the Honda dealership just to change the battery damn it!) . I almost sent this item back because I couldn't attach the small part that fits onto the key (this part is hidden once installed) to match and align the holes. After reading…

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Some little things
