Review on Honda Accord Civic EX Pilot Key Fob Shell Replacement - 4 Button Keyless Entry Remote Case Car Key Housing (Casing Only) by Joseph Hall

I have installed key parts from my original key fob into a new key fob case. It didn't quite fit. The case didn't close completely, but it was better than what I had. I tried. The engine started but would not start. I tried several times over the next 30 minutes. I thought there might be something wrong with my car. So I replaced the key parts with the original key fob again and the car started on the first try! Went to the beer store and got an F! [What happened to my car? My guess is the "new" key doesn't quite fit the ignition.]
