Love, Love, Love my Fob

Simply my best purchase ever. I've been using my original key for so long that the lock and unlock buttons fell off. So glad I found this replacement at Revain. My only disappointment is that I couldn't find it a year ago when I bought my first replacement. My first replacement cost me 3x the replacement I bought from Revain and I'm not even going to talk about how much their programming costs, but I love that I can get in my car with almost no electrocution 😊. I tell all my friends who have…

Good replacement for anti-theft device

Good replacement for 2011 Chevy Cruze. You basically take the guts out of the old and put in the new used old key and there is no need to cut the new into the old FOB. You have to insert the key into the spring slot and wind it up a few times, applying pressure to push the key out. I can't block it, but what I'm seeing is a matter of proper button placement. The button has notches and top and bottom points for blocking, note the taper of the button and I think it should be fine. A little…

Pure pain, there is nothing easier.

Looks like it's about to break. However, I don't know how. With the force it took me to pull it apart, it should be able to withstand a nuclear bomb. As a result, successfully disassembled and reassembled. After trimming some plastic areas to put them back together. About replacing the key blade with the original. Knocked out the pen on both of them and found that the new key fob had a different blade length. I cut the old one where it should have been on the back. Only to find that the slot…

Works pretty well for my 2014 Cruze

Everything in that regard went almost as I expected. I opened the factory keychain full of PITA, but I used a hot air station to heat it and peel it off piece by piece until it was carefully opened. but it was all an OEM device. Moving on to this new one, it was nice and easy to put together. no glue! yay The blade was replaced with a roll pin that I knocked out. The hardest part was getting the "Switch Blade" action to work properly. But all you have to do is assemble it loosely and then…

Fits well, key head had to be changed

Great for the price, looks 95% like the original. I had problems disassembling the old key fob because the housing halves are glued together. It didn't work, I had to hit hard with a hammer and screwdriver between the halves of the case. Be careful not to hit the circuit board inside. One star off because I had to remove the key head from the hinge myself. If you use the old key, as I suspect most people do, the key fob closes and locks it. The new key head differs only slightly from the…

Great value for money but do your homework before you start.

High quality replacement for the factory key. We have a 2014 Cruz. Just a tip, watch some YouTube videos on how to disassemble old factory key fobs before proceeding. I damaged one of the circuit boards trying to do this without instructions. And call to inquire about interior key making prices. Not many places do. I ended up spending $30 to do the key because I was in a hurry and didn't have time to call. I am sure there is a cheaper way. The keys do not need to be programmed if you change the

Excellent replacement key fob

I purchased this replacement key fob to replace a cheap, inferior OEM GM key fob that wasn't built to last. The release button on my original key fob broke again after only a few years of use. My car came with two, both of which are now broken. The dealer said around $250 to get a new fob so this replacement was a MUCH better option. The OEM key fob is a little tricky to open - basically you have to pry it open with a screwdriver to get inside. The replacement key fob is designed to be opened…

  • No reprogramming required. Simply remove the circuit board and chip in this new housing and have a locksmith cut the key blade to fit your vehicle.
