Great value parts

My only complaint is that I had to sand the insides for about 10 minutes before fitting. My bike has a 41mm fork so I didn't need spacers (so I had to grind). Easy to install and glides smoothly. There are other headlight ears that cost close to $300, but these fit well and look decent. In fact, I prefer a duller finish. I bought these to lower the headlight to make room for the wires from the lowered handlebars. Now I'm ready for clipons or flatter mounts if I want them in the future. Very…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad

Very nice for the price!

These mounts work well and look great. The chrome finish is nice. They're aluminum, but you'll see some copper color on the machined area that pinches the tube. After installation, it is not visible. This is because chrome plating is a three step process. Copper, nickel and then chromium. The included spacers dangle slightly from the 39mm fork tubes. What I did was place the spacers on the fork tube and then carefully wrapped the spacers with two layers of tape. Then they tightened up nicely.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Has flaws

Great quality and perfect for many uses!

I bought this to replace crappy brackets that came with a headlight I bought separately from another manufacturer. Needless to say, this is a big step up from other junk. They fit perfectly, well milled and cleaned, and the paint looks pretty solid even with my clumsy setup. Please note that you will need to drop the forks halfway through the triple clamp to install. They are not separate and form a whole. This is easy enough, but be prepared. All in all I would highly recommend them to anyone…

  • Great fit for me

Get what you pay for

These are very good mounts at a great price. For a third of the price of other anodized aluminum parts, you should expect some quality control issues. It's just die cast aluminum mounts with a good powder coat finish. It's a matte finish that looks amazing. However, if you don't have the brains and don't know how to deal with the problems that arise, I would go for bindings that have guaranteed good quality but a higher price. I had to tap holes in one of my mounts as there were no threads…

Amazing value! for fork mounts

These headlight mounts are really good! They have a matte black, semi-gloss surface that convinces with its price. The aluminum is very well finished with no sharp edges and the quality is excellent. The plastic sockets look very cheap, but they are hidden under the brackets and serve their purpose. Most of time. I have 39mm fork tubes and found the bushings to be a bit too small leaving a gap between the bushing OD and the bracket. I backed out the screws all the way, but there was still a gap

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Frequency
