These headlight mounts are really good! They have a matte black, semi-gloss surface that convinces with its price. The aluminum is very well finished with no sharp edges and the quality is excellent. The plastic sockets look very cheap, but they are hidden under the brackets and serve their purpose. Most of time. I have 39mm fork tubes and found the bushings to be a bit too small leaving a gap between the bushing OD and the bracket. I backed out the screws all the way, but there was still a gap and the brackets were loose. I attached this with a piece of very thin vinyl from a craft store, cut to fit in each half of the plastic sleeve. That was the difference (maybe 1/64 inch) and after that I had enough tension to work with. Aside from that minor annoyance during installation, I think these SMT MOTO headlight brackets are amazing for the price!
