This is the exact remote replacement for my weird Panasonic air conditioner and it still works great. I love it when things are as they should be and work as advertised. I think we live in disappointing times

My original remote became so bad that even the wobbling on/off button stopped working reliably. This replacement works great and (as another reviewer noted) even reflects the signal off the ceiling. Highly recommended!

I tried changing the airflow setting and it didn't work, I could only turn the AC on and remotely it did Most importantly for us this was necessary as the device was partially blocked by the headboard.

The most important thing is that it not only WORKS, it works AMAZING. I don't even have to point it at the air conditioner; The signal bounces off of everything and it works like it's hooked up directly to the air conditioner. It's so nice to buy an inexpensive generic part and find that it's just as good or even better than you might expect! I don't know how I used to live without it.

The remote control is nice and small, almost the size of the original, but the buttons are much larger and clearly visible. Has all the features of the original but the main buttons I use, Power Temp and Fan Speed are large and easy to reach and all functions work. I was hoping for a lower price since the air conditioner itself was only around $59 a few years ago, but I'm sure I'll enjoy a good remote long after I forget the $18.
